Client: Jaxon Construction / Stirling Capital
Architect: MacDonald Jones Architects
Project name: Cirque Apartments
Location: Mount Pleasant
Project timeline: 6 weeks
Cirque is a unique new apartment development that Stirling Capital are bringing to the Mount Pleasant foreshore.
Designed by MacDonald Jones Architects Cirque provides clever use of light and space, amazing panoramic views and six star green building council of Australia sustainability credentials.
Jaxon Construction, engaged by Stirling Capital under an ECI arrangement, convinced Stirling Capital for McNally Group to build the Display Suite in modular construction in order for the building to become a valuable asset that can be relocated and reused instead of being demolished when the main apartment construction gets underway.
The high end design incorporates finishes such as Tasmanian Oak flooring, stone bench tops and splashbacks, anodised cabinetry and deluxe Swiss appliances. McNally Group were able to adapt the traditional design to suit modular techniques and deliver the complete building in a 6 week turnaround for the Grand Opening and Sales Launch that commenced on Friday the 26th of February 2016.
This project was a great opportunity to demonstrate McNally Groups capabilities in high end residential construction and will no doubt lead to developers considering adopting a modular approach to the entire project moving forward.
